Rev.com was a forerunner with APIs, but they had reached a tipping point in scaling. They needed to understand more about the developer journey and how to improve it.
We approached the work combining customer experience, user experience and developer experience design and evaluation methods. We also benchmarked the Rev APIs, API documentation and marketing and support material.
We also reviewed the Rev.ai service, that they launched later.
The Rev team was happy with the results. We found many easy fixes that they were able to deliver quickly. They also had some more fundamental things that they put on their roadmap.
