Designing an ecosystem model for digital rehabilitation in Africa
Our client, a university in Finland together with their African counterparties studied the possibilities to create a digitally enabled rehabilitation ecosystem in Rwanda and potentially other African countries. The client wanted clarity and deeper understanding on potential ecosystem model, stakeholders needs and technical limitations and options for a distributed digital communication platform.
Our engagement
We created and validated the ecosystem model based on market and stakeholder research in Rwanda and, prepared suggested roadmap and online community building guidelines.
We did thorough analysis of the available and applicable digital communication platforms and provided a well-advised overview and insights report based on which customer could choose the most appropriate platform solution.
Lessons learned
It was essential to understand cultural differences of customers and digital landscape in completely different country and culture in order to design reasonable ecosystem model, roadmap and suitable technical suggestions.
